The diffusion effect depends on the diode intensity and the channel height. As a low-profile solution, it is difficult to achieve a spotless or neon effect unless the intensity is 180 LED/M or higher, or with COB LED strips. A 45-degree miter is recommended for corner connections.

The package includes a U-shaped channel with a milky cover, measuring 0.69" in width and 0.28" in height. It is designed to fit LED strips within a 0.5" width. The aluminum housing and heat radiator provide professional-grade protection for the LED strip light.

The package also includes 4 sets of hardware per channel: M3x12mm stainless steel screws for steady installation in cabinets and more durable moisture-resistant environments, and M3x20mm carbon steel magnetic screws with wall anchors for wall applications.

Two end caps per channel are provided, featuring an anti-light leak design with one cap having a hole and the other being closed.

The steps for installation are as follows: 1. Screw the channel onto the working surface, with a pilot hole suggested for rigid surfaces. Measure and mark the screw points before installation. 2. Paste the LED strip into the channel, ensuring it is no more than 0.5" wide to fit the majority of LED strips (not suitable for Philips Hue 2nd generation). 3. Snap the cover into the channel, pressing from one end to the other to secure the diffuser.

Compared to pre-drilled channels with clips, the advantages of this solution include flush mounting without gaps, a concealed installation system, avoidance of scratches, and a seamless end-to-end extension. The disadvantage is that the LED strip can only be installed after the channel is fixed, requiring the diffuser to be uncovered and the strip moved if the channel needs to be repositioned.
